Just when I thought an air conditioner could not get any quieter, this one topped them all. I've had a handful of Frigidaire AC units now. They don't make my electric bill go up, they are quiet, and light weight. I usually get 10,000 btu but this time I was able to get a 12,000 btu for the same low weight. I am a 60 year old woman, 5'4".So size matters since I install it myself. :)

Although his air conditioner is for a up and down opening window we bought it because we not want to deal with the extra weight and expense of a slider window air conditioner. Installing it in our sliding window was easy. We used plexiglass to fill in the upper portion of the window.

This AC is 3x smaller than my older model and emits the same amount of BTUs. It cools the space quite well with its SWING mode. I am loving that not only is there a remote, but you can use the app as your remote as well. I am absolutely thrilled with the scheduling feature in the app. This allows me to set my AC for certain times of the day when I am working. Installation was very easy. This window unit is super quiet. I can't even tell if it is on at times. We have 2 window units in our living room with the other one being a 2 year older model, almost the same size but with less BTUs and it is crazy louder. We plan to eventually replace each of our window units with these models. So far a huge fan.

The air conditioner is nice, installed easily, and it is very quite. However, the issue is, with the on unit controls. They supposed to be touch sensitive, but they don't work. Fortunately, it comes with the remote control, so it can be operated that way. What happens though if the remote control goes bad? Does Frigidaire replaces those? And what about the WiFi button on the unit? I could not make it to activate, to use it with the phone app. Total failure on this aspect by Frigidaire.
