Beko's Best Value Dishwasher

9.28.21

One of the best-hidden secrets when it comes to getting appliances in this pandemic is the appliance brand Beko.

They are well known and established in Europe, and when it comes to dishwashers, it's easy to see why. Today, let's take a closer look at their starting price point dishwasher, the DUT25401. One reason you get so much bang for your buck with these dishwashers is the interior material. Stainless steel tubs are common in more expensive dishwashers, but rather uncommon at a price point as low as $519. These dishwashers have quite a good performance to price ratio, making them a rare exception to the usually true aphorism "you get what you pay for."

Another feature not quite as common at this price point is an adjustable upper rack, which is featured in the DUT25401. This adjustable rack can move up or down, allowing for larger dishware to fit in the lower rack, or taller glassware to fit up top. Again, this is a feature typically reserved for dishwashers that sell at higher prices. Beko's own ProSmart Inverter Motor is also worth mentioning here. It's part of the reason why this dishwasher is rated highly by EnergyStar, the EPA's energy efficiency certification program. For the past 5 years, Beko has been awarded EnergyStar's Partner of the Year award for energy efficiency. Not only does this motor decrease energy and water consumption, but it keeps things quiet too. The DUT25401 is rated at 48 dBA – around the volume of a quiet library.

This is all great, I can hear someone saying, but all that fancy stuff won't really matter if it breaks down easily. Well, Beko has made a good product with their DUT25401. As a show of confidence in their appliances, Beko offers 2 years of manufacturer's warranty – twice the industry standard. This includes parts and labor for any defects or any issues that arise from normal use.

In addition to all this, the DUT25401 includes a number of other features typically reserved for much more expensive dishwashers. These include a metered fill, wherein the water added for washing is measured rather than simply timed, (therefore ensuring that the water pressure stays constant), and a turbidity sensor, which will implement a more aggressive wash when sensing cloudier (i.e. dirtier) water. Finally, Beko has included an inline or flow through water heater, eliminating the need for an exposed heating element. This does away with the safety problems of a heating element, while still rapidly heating the water.

With so much available in such an affordable dishwasher, it isn't hard to see why these Beko dishwashers are a great deal – great performance at a great price. And, in this pandemic-stricken economy, they are uncommonly easy to obtain too. So if you have the need for a new dishwasher, consider coming down to Kelly's Appliances to check out the Beko DUT25401. We're always happy to help!
