not sure the life span of the product but it lasted 4 years before it stopped heating up the food. everything else worked expect that part.

it runs automatically, but it will not heat anything. if you open the door, it will stop working and the other functions (fan, oven/stove lights, clock) work, but the microwave itself will not.

it worked fine for 2 years. then as soon as the warrenty is gone is has completely stopped. i have all samsung appliances in my kitchen and they have all broken wothin 2 years. buy a different brand.

Handle Broke in a few months

the handle is flimsy and hollow and broke within a few months after it was installed. but what was worse is that it has been months since it broke and samsung is yet to fix it. they required the unit uninstalled before working on it. i paid a handyman to uninstall and i am still waiting for them to fix my microwave. they have bad customer service.

the microwave is mounted above the stove. we use it as intended. the microwave works but the door cracked after a couple months of owning the microwave. the bottom of the handle cracked next and the handle is on the verge of falling off. this should not happen.
