The only stove I could find with REAL knobs and not an electronic touchpad. Yay. Hoping this one will last. Please keep making stoves with real knobd. Touchpads are junk and simply stop working afer awhile; knobs last forever.

Required to select from American Home Shield as replacement for unrepairable stove. Knobs on the front may be hazardous for children - as to access. No clock or stove light for surface, very plain but not inexpensive list price.

I've just bought this range, so the 5 stars is hopeful. What prompted me to review it already is that its plainness, which I find elegant and for me is its best feature, some other reviewers find disappointing. My last range, a 15-year-old GE, which this one replaces, had digital touch pad whatnot, i.e. timer, clock, etc. Over time, the touch pad digital controls for everything became crummy looking and always needed nearly constant cleaning themselves. I so appreciate that this one is mechanical and has the controls on the front. The previous range had the annoying feature of the controls for the back burners interfering with actually using those burners--I hardly ever used those burners over the entire 15 years I had that range. Based on that experience, I expect this range to be entirely satisfactory.
