Let’s start with the pros: The stainless steel body and square shape is beautiful and sturdy. The carafe is large at 64 oz. and it is quieter than other blenders I’ve had. It made salsa in seconds and it makes a beautiful velvety purée. The blades are serrated and blends ingredients very quickly. There is only one con to this blender so far, and that is it shuts itself off after 60 seconds so that it doesn’t overheat. I found this out when I did the initial cleaning with soap and water. I don’t care for this feature, however, with as quickly and efficiently it plows thru ingredients I can’t imagine anything that would need to be blended that long anyway. I literally buzzed up salsa in 15 seconds. I can’t speak to how well it crushes ice, I rarely ever need to do that. Overall, I am pleased with this blender so far.

I love the sleek look and size of this blender but I’m so disappointed in its ability to chop up ice cubes for smoothies! I even purchased an ice tray that creates tiny cubes thinking that would help-it unfortunately did not.

This is beautiful blender for the money and the performance is outstanding! I normally use it for making smoothies which come out amazing! It's very easy to use as well. This blender makes for a great purchase!
