I really do love the cast iron grids for searing and adding the nice hash marks on my meat. Im now on my second set of grids in 5 years because the ceramic keeps peeling off. I know it doesnt harm my food but my family doesnt like eating crunchy black stuff Ill be going with stainless steel next time.
