Good washer on the bedding cycle only

We got this washer at the beginning of the year and its still running fine but it does not clean clothing whatsoever. Unless you are using the bedding cycle which uses way too much water no matter how little you put in the water barely crests the clothes you put in there. The sensor must not be that great if half my clothes are sticking out of the water and are barely being touched in order the clean them the primary reason for having a WASHING MACHINE. If Im washing my sheets etc and theres only a few sheets in there if the sensor is sensing how much water to put it why does it fill to the brim each time no matter how many items you put in. It should sense how much is there and add the appropriate amount of water to SUBMERGE the DIRTY items and CLEAN them properly. It doesnt seem very energy saving. Your water bill will definitely be effected.
Good Design product.

Amazing Clothes Washer

First week was worried would have to take night classes to figure out how to do the laundry. Then common sense of it clicked into place and I love it. Handles big loads and comforters using impeller. Yet fits where my very old agitator unit sat. Spin leaves clothes less wet going into dryer - takes half the time to dry. Received rebate from electric company for being energy efficient. Got unbelievable buy for this washer.
Too smart stupid to be useful
by: Ethan Kung

This machine is less usable than the 30 year old machine that I replaced. There is no flexibility in the available programs. It claims to be smart and removes the option for manual settings but it is quite stupid at times and leaves you with no way to wash clothes in an appropriate way. For example if you put in 1/4 of a load of clothes that are already wet the machine will automatically weigh the clothes and decide that it is a full load and put in a ridiculous amount of water and wash it for a long time. Is it that hard to give user the option to set the amount of water and wash time that is desired?
