We are happy with the performance of our new refrigerator. We love the no handles feature. Great safety feature to keep our grand kids ages 1 and 5 out of the unit.
"Not My Mom's FRIGIDAIRE"

"Frigidaire." I remember my mom always referring what ever refrigerator we had at the time as The "FRIGIDAIRE." Even if we had another brand at the time, she still called it the "FRIGIDAIRE." That's probably because, back in those days, the 'FRIGIDAIRES" were the go-to fridge, and were fabulous, good quality fridges, that many, if not a majority (I'm guessing) of American households had in their homes in the 1950's-1970's. And, for the most of the years when I lived at home with my parents, we had a 'real FRIGIDAIRE". This one, the one I bought for a secondary in our garage....is not my mom's "FRIGIDAIRE." Granted, i only paid $648 on sale @ HD, but still, I'd guess that any lower end FRIGIDARE back in the earlier years I just mentioned were most likely, fabulous, good quality fridges. This one? Not so much, "It's ok". The fit and finish is poor. Left side of the sheet metal is not nice and flat, but has some warping that is noticeable. Right side had a slight dent, which probably is attributed to shipping -vs the manufacturing. The footing appears to be not very accurate. I was not able to get the front rollers and the leveling screws to level the fridge very well, and finally just utilized some wood shims to get it level. (My garage floor is flat and level and not the issue) Have a few pics, but did not take any for the right and left side issues I mentioned. If it was not intended for use in my garage, I'd want it either replaced or I'd buy a different unit. So far, it is working well, keeping things cold and frozen in the freezer section. A light in the freezer would have been nice, preferred. The interior is nice and bright and is roomy with good space. The glass shelving are cheap, as is the drawers configuration and design. Well there you go, I'm sure if I would have bought a unit that cost 3-4 times the cost of this one, I would not (hopefully) be mentioning these types of deficiencies. But hey, what would you expect for $648 on sale and manufactured in another country that hates Americans, but loves our $ and that FRIGIDAIRE would have manufactured outside of the US -vs here employing people here. Sorry I digress.... It's an "ok" fridge.

We bought this to replace another fridge which could not stay cold enough during the hot months in our garage. This one is performing well and itâs been over 100 degrees this week!
