Our new home had a newer side-by-side that didn’t have near the room as our previous top freezer model so we decided to sell the “fancy” one and get a top freezer model. Plus the side-by-side had a door ice/water dispenser that had no way to easily hook up. Love the roominess of this GE.

Already using to store spare ice, beverages and frozen items. Cooled down quickly and stays nice a cold in the garage, even when it's 100 degrees outside. Love the no-finger marks finish and color. Sorta looks like a mocha color.

GE fridge delivered a day ago. The fridge ran for about 12 hrs straight from the time first plugged in. Now it runs at about 25 min intervals. Not sure if that is normal. There is a hum but not overly loud. My only complaint so far is the door needs to be completely swung open to remove shelves or open the bottom drawer. In our case the fridge door swings open next to the wall so I can't remove the shelves unless the fridge is pulled out. This is due to the inside of the fridge walls are not as thick thus causing the shelves to run right into the seal of the door when door is open at 90 degree. Otherwise, the inside is roomy. I would suggest getting bins to hold bagged items to keep from blocking vents on back of freezer.
